Due to the limitations of our historic building, the Zeiterion is only able to offer a coat check to Zeiterion supporters inside the private lounge. We apologize for any inconvenience.

There is no set dress code for the theater, but most patrons dress casually.

The Z is pleased to offer a Veterans and Senior Citizen Discount. Veterans and seniors (65+) can save 10% on tickets to select shows with valid ID. Available in person at the box office. The Z is also proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program, the most comprehensive effort of its kind to open doors to arts and culture experiences for low-income families. EBT and ConnectorCare card holders can purchase tickets for $5 each to most events. Available in person at the box office. Come with a group! Groups of 10 or more can save up to 20% on tickets to select shows and no fees. For details, ask the box office about Group Sales. Bundle & Save! Build your own package to experience the shows YOU want – at a discount! Choose from shows marked with the Bundle & Save icon. Then use code BUNDLE at check-out to save 10% with tickets to 3 or more eligible events. Please note: discounts must be applied at time of purchase. Discounts are not available retroactively.

Every person attending a performance is required to purchase a ticket, including children and infants.

Ticket fees may be added to your order, which is standard in the performing arts industry. Since the Zeiterion handles ticket sales independently, our fees are much lower than theaters that use third-party ticketing companies. For most tickets, a $6.00 order fee will be added to every order, whether purchased online, by phone or at the box office. This fee is NOT per ticket; it is a fee applied to the entire order. A $4.00 ticket fee will be added to every order purchased online or by phone. You are not charged this per ticket fee when purchasing in person at the box office.

Buy with confidence! If an event is cancelled or postponed, you will have the option to receive a refund or credit, or you may donate the value of your ticket back to The Z.

The Zeiterion does not sell tickets to patrons who seek to resell their tickets.

The Zeiterion does not authorize its tickets for resale through third party sellers, including eBay, StubHub, TicketMaster, Craig’s List, and other similar websites.

No refunds, no exchanges, unless the event is cancelled or postponed.

There is a limit of 9 tickets for each show at the Zeiterion.

The box office opens 1 hour before each performance. You can also reach the box office by phone during business hours during the week.

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the artist and Zeiterion staff.

Mobile devices, such as cell phones and tablets, are allowed in the theater, but we ask patrons to use silent mode and refrain from using them during the performance.

If you are inspired to stand or dance during a performance, the Zeiterion asks patrons to remain at their seats, keep the aisles clear, and refrain from congregating near the sides or front of the stage.

The Zeiterion asks guests to maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times.

The Zeiterion encourages respectful and appropriate language and behavior from all patrons at performances.

If you’ve misplaced an item, please check with the House Manager or box office.

Cell Phones and other electronic devices are prohibited. Noises from electronic devices are highly distracting to the performers so please make sure they are turned off.

Pets are not allowed, with the exception of trained service animals.

With advanced notice, ASL interpretation and audio description are available.

An accessible restroom is located on the main floor near the ladies’ room.

Accessible parking is available in the city’s garage adjacent to the theater.

Complimentary ear plugs and audio listening devices are available at the box office.

The Zeiterion will not sell, exchange, trade or provide your name, address, telephone numbers or email addresses to any third party.

It shall be a violation of Zeiterion policy for any person to have in his or her possession any weapon or to introduce any weapon into the Zeiterion, including public access areas.
