Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, this show has been cancelled. In addition, the related Dance Barre presentation “Are All Dances Folk Dances” on Wednesday, February 12 has also been cancelled.

Folclórico Nacional de México

A joyous company that comes direct from Mexico to share its rich cultural gifts of dance, music, and folklore! Celebrating 60 years, Folclórico Nacional de México showcases its finest music and dance, pulsating with hypnotic rhythms and swirling colors, including a mosaic of traditional dances.

In its long career, Folclórico Nacional de México has performed in more than 40 countries and five continents, receiving numerous awards and prizes, as well as being designated an Ambassador of Mexican Culture. In addition to its international tours, Folclórico Nacional de México maintains residences in Mexico City and Cancun. The troupe was featured in the original production of “Xcaret Mexico Espectacular,” which performed 365 days a year for nearly 20 years, with over 200 artists taking the stage throughout its run. This show was directed and choreographed entirely by Silvia Lozano, General Director and Choreographer of Folclórico Nacional de México.
