DARTMOUTH ORCHESTRA TRIBUTE TO TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA - FEATURING TSO'S MARK WOOD
Celebrate the holiday season with 100+ Dartmouth Orchestra students as they present a tribute to the exhilarating music of the Trans- Siberian Orchestra. We are thrilled to feature the original TSO electric violinist, Mark Wood as our guest soloist! You’ll be sure to hear your favorite songs and so much more!
The DHS Orchestra have hosted numerous guest artists over the years including their favorite composer, Soon Hee Newbold and Irish fiddler extraordinaire, Kevin Burke. This May, Canadian violinist Dean Marshall founder of Barrage and an internationally acclaimed composer and educator will join us for a residency at DHS. Over the years the orchestra has performed nationally and internationally. They have performed in the Strathmore Music Center in Washington D.C. and Symphony Hall, Boston, as well as Ireland, Canada, Austria, Germany, the Azores. This July, they will head to Scotland to perform in the Sterling Music Festival.
Dartmouth Public School Orchestra is led by Co-Directors, Heather Church & Charlene Monte, who inspire students through exposure to many varied, meaningful musical experiences.
